Meet Selina, she’s a label-lover, a Lewis Hamilton fan and gets stuff done! We would be lost without Selina, but there are a few answers in her Q&A that even surprised us!
If there’s something about your life that you don’t like, the only person that can change it is you. There’s a brilliant card by Edward Monkton that I think puts it perfectly: “Beware the deadly donkey, falling from the sky, you can choose the way you live my friend, but not the way you die.”
My typical day is really varied as my role spans, to varying degrees most areas of the business (other than anything techy!). The biggest project on my list at the moment is looking at our operational processes on the Professional Services side of the business, and working with the team to make things even slicker than they are already!
In the summer, the thought of ten minutes of peace in the garden before the rest of the house starts to wake up. In the winter, coffee, and lots of it.
Dolly Parton. A hugely successful businesswoman, always smiling, and can still carry off cowboy boots.
Lewis Hamilton. I have a secret burning desire to be a formula one driver. I think I missed my calling and would have been great at it. Most people who have been in a car with me disagree, but they are clearly just faint-hearted.
A beautiful puppy called Stevie (named after Stevie Nicks) who we’ve realised looks worryingly like a gremlin when she lies with her head back (note we refer to her as the terrifying Stripe and not the cute Gizmo), and a still-slightly-put-out black cat called Daisy.
