We are delighted to announce that we are now ISO 27001 certified.

So, what is ISO 27001? It’s the international standard and best practice for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and as a document management company, information security is a big deal…

Security matters to Encodian, so we’re thrilled that we passed with flying colours! Our Auditor commented that Encodian has one of the best software development processes he has ever audited! And that’s because we are committed to having processes to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information and yours.

By being ISO 27001 certified, we hope to demonstrate our commitment to information security. And also our continual improvement principles to our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. We’re here to say that we take pride in governing ourselves today, tomorrow, and the next.

We thank our Operations Director, James Sales, and Operations Manager, Selina Hewlett-Barlow. Their dedication and commitment not only got us through but ensured we excelled.

ISO27001 is an international standard for information security management systems. It provides a set of requirements that can help organisations protect their assets and data against threats and vulnerabilities if implemented correctly and consistently.

Why is ISO 27001 critical?

Organisations implementing ISO27001 can benefit from better risk management, improved operational efficiency and reduced costs. It also helps them build trust with customers and regulators and protect their brand reputation.
